QUEENIE:

Adoption Pending!

Queenie is about 12.  She is a very independent cat who is also very loving, sweet and affectionate.

She came to us when her senior owner was no longer able to take care of her.

She loves to be pet but also enjoys spending time on her own.

She may be best in a home with no other pets.

KATIE:

Katie is between 10 and 12 years of age and is spayed. Her only owner passed away recently and we took her since she is such a sweet cat.

She is passive with other cats and would prefer being an only pet in a home.

She wants the attention and affection of humans. She loves chin rubs! She is in a foster home right now since she was too stressed out at the shelter.

She is waiting for her forever home so just let us know you want to meet her and we’ll arrange it!

MAKITA:

Meet Makita! This beautiful girl is 2 to 3 years of age and came to us a stray with 3 kittens. You might remember them as Stanley, Klein and Hilti. At her first foster home she was extremely skittish with her foster mom and that did not change when she came to our shelter. She was extremely scared, and our volunteers started making progress with her.

It was decided that she would do better in another foster home and that is where she is and has been for about 4 months. Her foster mom tells us she has made great progress and is ready for a home of her own now.

She gave us this information: Makita loves wet food and is very treat motivated. She will be shy at first and will need time to get used to her new home. A quiet home would suit her best although she could be with other cats and does okay with dogs. She loves to play – especially with feather wands and especially loves laying on a window cat perch. She is great at climbing in a cat tree and is high energy. She will lie at your feet while you sleep and likes to sit next to someone while they watch tv or read.

She is ready for a home of her own now.

Let us know if you want to meet her! Her foster mom will bring her to the shelter for the meet and greet!!!

HATTIE:

We have Hattie back and we are looking for someone very special who would adopt her. Hattie was terrorized by a cat in a previous home.

As a result she acts like there are “monsters” out there that want to get her. Right now she is being fostered and is being kept in a room where she can see everything around her.

She would do best in a home where she is the only pet or in a home with a non-aggressive cat. We are looking for someone who is cat savy and who will give her plenty of time to decompress and to feel secure. She is beautiful and we know that she can come to enjoy her life in the best setting for her.

Hattie is 4 years old, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. If interested, please submit a no obligation application for her.

Hathaway

HATHAWAY:

Hathaway is in a foster home, but is available for adoption. Contact us to meet him!

Hathaway is a beautiful cat with a very unique coloring.

He was an adult stray when he was picked up and cared for by his rescuers.  He does not like other cats very much and would prefer to be an only pet.

We think he is about 3 or 4 years of age.  He is neutered and has all of his claws.  He is a sweet boy who is very shy and needs a family of his own.

Currently he is in a foster home since he and shelter life did not work. Just let us know you want to meet him and we’ll arrange it!
