Donate Now

Donations are of vital importance to PFS Shelter.  The money allows us to sustain our operating budget so we can continue to adopt more pets into loving homes.  Our adoption feeds don’t begin to cover the cost of care for our animals – especially our beloved older animals.  It costs about $250 for each pet who comes through our door.  We spay or neuter all adoptable animals, provide necessary vaccinations and medicines, ensure proper veterinary care and microchip for permanent identification.  We also spread the word about our shelter and the importance of adopting homeless pets.  We cannot do all of this without our wonderful volunteers and donors.

To make it easy on our donors, we have established a relationship with JustGive.  There is no monthly fee for us and it is an easy process for those who want to help us cover our costs.  However, for every donation our organization collects through JustGive, a 4.5% processing is deducted from the total amount of the donation. The 4.5% processing fee covers transaction costs and credit card fees. At the time of donation, donors do have the option to cover this fee.

Membership benefits include:

~ The knowledge that your gift is helping your community and the animals through PFS Shelter’s programs and services ~ Your name published as an Individual Member or Corporate Member on our website and in our newsletters ~ Invitations to our special events ~ Volunteer Opportunities
